Sapien Acts Funny

I've been having trouble getting sapien to work without closing out after I open my scenerio file. I checked all associated tags closely for errors, but I found no red text or anything out of the ordinary, and no errors occur in tool while compiling either the bitmaps or structures. I recently learned of the debug.txt file, and an error is being recorded, but I have no idea what it's trying to tell me. The message written reads:

Code: Select all

08.10.06 20:56:51 sapien pc 01.00.00.0609 ----------------------------------------------

Is anyone familiar with this type of problem?
The only solution I have found is to delete all the tags, or at least the ones made by sapien, restart the computer 2-3 times (for some reason, 1 restart doesn't work), and start over again until it works. Not the most time efficient thing.

Last time I had an error that closely resembled this, there was a problem with the bump map (wasn't assigned as a height map).

So, go back in guerilla and check all tags, bump map or not, to see if they have the right properties.

i also get this if another program is using the scenario.

also try ,as said above, not doing any bump maps, and if it works its a problem with your bump-maps
