Need Help with TOOl... wierd error

:cry: SRY about my last posting i was preetty mad. Whatever, this is my problem,
This is so anoying. Im doing fine with HEK using the video tutorials on halomods.com. I have my 3ds max ( model made and the blitzgrieg thing plugin loaded. When i export my map as a JMS, 3ds max does it (makes the JMS file because i can see it in the folder that i saved it to), ... then an error comes up and 3ds max 8 closes on me. Whatever, I ignore that and make the shaders with tool in CMD but when i build the map (using the command "tool structure ..." this is what CMD gives back to me. :shock:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games>

Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'

### ERROR model file has wrong version number.

go look at the actual jms file... is it 0 kb?

It didnt export from 3ds correctly.... fix all your 3ds errors and re-export

EDIT: I re read your post like 6 times (and I still dont know if I understand you correctly)

When exactly do you get this error?

I get this error after i click export. It works for a second, then a message box appears and says "attention, 3ds max 8 will be closing unexpectedly, please save your work immediately". But when i open the folder i was supposed to export to, there is a jms file with like a value of 132. I'm bewildered. :?:

a value of 132?..... you're strange

is that the size of the file?.... is it a TINY map?
