ok when i go to sapien and type in radiosity_quality 0

then i type radiosity_start and the #'s start at zero can any 1 help me?

btw i did type it roght and also when i enter the program m y mouse dissapears when i click on any window i appreciate help. this topic is mostly for my first problem . thanks,pops

well radiosity takes an extremelly long time in sapien. One of my maps took me 6 days to run radiosity in sapien. Also sapien is annoying because it locks your computer so you cant do anything else. Your best bet is to use tool to run radiosity, tool is quicker and you can do other things while running it. Also the numbers start at zero and then they go up to about 9.8 and then they start coming down again but because sapien takes so long you thought it froze at zero.

i aint trying to be a jerk but u said it locks ur computerbut mine is running right now as i speak, or type......and uh if i do it with tool what do i type in.
OOOO 1 last ? how come in the tutorial it only took the guy like 5 min although he sed it up and it took u six days? wtff...111 more thing i found my level, no picture or bitmaps appeared and now i cant move up or down but i can look up or down.. if u can answer my 1st? before the others

Is every linked to the frame and do you have a sky and lights in your map?

"The Guy" aka Kirk speed the vid up.Besides you comp doesn't lock up.Just press ALT+Tab and you are in buisness again.IF you have a cheap gfx card do tool if else do Sapien.Cause Sapien's results always look better.

Run the radiosity at 1 then save it and then post a screan shot of how it looks.

sorry my scr prt dosent work my sister got almost the exactsame laptop and it seems that hers dosent work either do u no whats up with that?

lol Okay now press the Print Screen button open up paint or what ever you have press <Ctrl> V to paste it. Go to imageshack and host it then use the adresses they give you to show it to us.

Ah, damnit, another person that didn't bother following the Halo Editing Kit tutorial. Nice job. Fix up your spelling too, maybe a bit of English class can help at that?

Open up your .scenerio file in Sapien, and in the top, add the sky. Just browse and select.

i did that i just want my bitmaps to appear
