since this is actually a Halo PC mod, I'm posting it here. i've downloaded a couple of mods that have intelligent AI in Bloodgulch assigned to red and blue teams. i'd like to make a similar mod myself since i can't rebuild a pre-modded map and included sentinels and new projectiles into the mix. can anyone either tell me how or link me to a tutorial on how to convert .map files from Halo PC to .scenario files for the modded sapien? and then of course back to .map files for Halo PC. much thanx!

royal is behind on the times
most progressive modders [or most at halopc.net] that use a rebuild will use a custom scenario made with sapain [sparkedit sucks[at least i think it does]]
then u convert it
it is much easyer cause u can have scripts/respawning ai and a bunch of other crap including less / more spawns dicate what weapon spawns for what game type ect...

lol. well to clarify this is a mod for Halo PC that I'm putting together using Sapien since it seems to give you more options concerning the addition to AI. I took a look at the tutorial though and I'm still a little unclear as to actually convert a Halo PC .map file into a .scenario file. Also, when you convert, do you drag the new tags into the list like you would if you were using Insolence for Halo 2? this is fun

I appretiate the help but there isn't an extract recursive on there. again, does anyone here know how to convert a halo pc .map file into a .scenario file that can be edited in sapien? if not, can you direct me to a tutorial. thanx!

Just find it, it's there. It'll prolly be in the levels\test\ folder in the tags folder in the CE directory. Fire of Sapien, and find it in it's proper level folder.
Ya should be thankful, Sapien and HEK are one of the most user friendly-designed mod tools (official) EVER.

When you say find "it" do you mean the exported tag list? i have it saved to my desktop, but i don't know what to do with it from there.
