OMG. That's LOUD!

So i was tryign to get a working battle rifle, and I finally did. The only problem is that the sounds are VERY LOUD AND SCRATCHY! I checked all the links for sounds in guerilla, and they are all pointing to some assualt rifle sounds. There are no red areas, and I'm quite puzzled on how to fix this. Can anyone help me?
