TOOL HELP, PLZ!

I"ll give U a cookie if u help me.
The Problem:
Tool keeps opening for like 0.5 seconds then quits, so I went in the debug.txt and under the tool thing, the last thing it says is this:
Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
WTF, I dunno what to do. If it's sumthing
really easy and I just didn't try it, excuse my n00bishness.

Make sure it is in the Halo CE Directory.

Tool is a command-line program. You must run it from a command prompt.
Read the official HEK tut, it covers basic usage of tool in there.

Thanks guyz, yes the tutorial helped out a lot. Guess I was just so excited to create maps that I skipped a part.

it took me for ever to find out to make a short cut of cmd and change the open in directory

Ok Here is how.
Start>Programs>Accesories>Right Click Command Prompt>Properties>Start in Box>PAste This Code "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition"

or if u dont want to mess with ur command prompt just make short cut on your desktop
