Bitmap Extractor V1.5

This program was made for the extraction of image files from a Halo .bitmap tag format. Any files produced by Bungie or Microsoft are their copyrighted property and should not be used in any game or program other than Halo.
This is V1.5 of my bitmap extractor and theres some big improvements
1. Viewing and Extracting of bitmaps is now a hell of alot quicker;
2. Cubemaps and Volume maps can now be viewed and extracted to any format;
3. From testing I believe I have all but 1 bitmap format extractable. It is unable to extract p8-bump formats.
You will need version 2.0 of the .NET Framework to use this program which can be found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... layLang=en
NOTES:
1. Extracting to either TIFF or PNG will destroy images with alpha channels. It will use the alpha channel as a transparency deleting parts of the colour channels and it will remove the alpha channel. JPG doesnt support alpha channel but the colour channels will be extracted. Where possible extract to DDS, TGA or BMP.
2. You must save custom bitmaps in guerilla/kornman00 BEFORE extracting them. Doing this sorts some dodgy values in the tag that this program relies on. This is also a probable fix for any problems you may get.
Thanks to the people who made the DevIL Image Library and Marco Mastropaolo for making the .NET wrapper for it.
And thanks to Kornman for helping me figure some things out.
Let me know how it goes...again!

well, im guessing that any custom bitmap that you want you must save before you extract it. Im jsut guessing though.

Pretty much

, open it in guerilla and save as. You dont have to do this with HEK+ extracted bitmaps btw, only bitmaps that havent been compiled into a map (which includes the original HEK bitmaps).
