HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I have halo CE and I went to Guerilla. I opened and modified the damage for the plasma pistol so it would kill in one hit. I saved, and closed Guerilla. I opened Halo CE and created a online Multiplayer Slayer game in blood gulch. Why didn't the plasma pistol kill in one hit?

Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong.
