HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

2 questions

1. i edited some of the tags and saved them, but nothing happend, how do i get that to work (i think imade rocket hog shoot faster and have more rockets b4 reload)

2. how do i extract models so i can edit them, then how do i put them back in.

*note: i would realy realy like to know how to do #1, and yes i have tryed the tuts and they are all for somthing else random

have you recompile your map?

recompile? well thats the kinda thing i need to know, i realy dont have a clue on anything im doing. after i save the stuff i changed with the tag what do i do?

you have to remopile your map otherise it won't work

what is recompileing and how do u do it?

open the tutorial.scenraio with sapien.Its under tags\levels\test\tutorial then go to units vehicles and add you vehicle(watch the hek vids) then save the scenario file.Then make sure that there is no tutorial.map file in the maps folder(other wise delete it) and go to tool.exe and typt:
tool build-cache-file levels\test\tutorial\tutorial and voila ingame

so would that put it in lets say blood gulch?
and where can i find thesse videos?

well bloodgulch you can't open cause they don't include the tags.Take the tutorial map.Look inot the tutorial sectonof Halomods.
