when I try to use the tool structure comand I get "### ERROR model has wrong version number" I can't find out how to fix this. I don't know whether or not this will help but I'm using adobe photo shop, 3ds max 7, and the HEK tools.

When you export the map.Do you go to file>export or do you run a script?

I don't do either. I learned that you were supposed to export as a .jms file. When I export it 3ds max 7 tells me that it doesn't know how to save .jms files. I save it as a 3ds file then change the extension to a .jms.

First of all you need this plugin:
http://cortana.org/files/hek/MAX6.zip
Then follow the readme file that is inclued in there.

If you are using chimp the right way. Delete everthing in the JMS files before and including *****begin jms***** then *****end jms***** and everthing after.

Just a random question - why wouldn't the people that make chimp have it automatically do that?
