well, on the open screen navagate to the scenario file you want to open, the open it. once the scenario is opened, you may have to run radiosity. to know if you need to run it you would have to look around the leven and if everything is black you will need to run it.
to run radiosity:
first click on the viewport window, then press the ` key *its below the Esc key*
next type these in separate-- radiosity_quality 0 -- radiosity_start
the first one "radiosity_quality 0" sets the lighting quality to draft.
teh second one starts the radiosity process, 3 numbers will start at 0.xxxxxx and count down to 0.000000. this is the (correct me if im wrong) hue numbers. once all 3 numbers are at 0.000000, radiosity is done. finaly type this in-- radiosity_save --which will save the radiosity process and displays the level as it would look in the game (or close to it)
if you dont need to run radiosity, ie it has already been run, you can edit the scenery, look around the level, and edit the placement of dynamic objects.
to move around the level:
first hold down the middle mouse button (if you dont have one, well, that sucks) then:
-to move forward press-- W
-to move backward press-- S
-to "strafe" right press-- D
-to "strafe" left press-- A
-to move up press-- R
-to move down press-- F
-to speed up press-- Left Shift
-to look around just move the mouse around
To place objects:
go under the hierarchy window
open mission
-for player placement go to "player starting points" and in the viewport window right click to place a starting point. under the properties pallate you can set the player index to either red (0) or blue (1) there are other settings you can futz with like what games people can spawn at this point.
-for vehicles or other such things go to their proper tag holding spot, go under edit types, then on the drop-down menu go to the right object class, press add, and look under the tags directory for the right objects you want.
thats about it for now, and i gtg, i how this helped

well, you can either compile your own scenario through tool via a .jms of the level. then after you compile it it will be located under tags then the same directory name in levels somewhere.
there is also the tutorial scenario which is loceted under tags\levels\test\tutorial and its called "tutorial.scenario" or something simmaler
