will true dual weilding ever be possible?

is halo ce physically capable of dual weilding like in halo 2? or will we always be limited to faking it by making the two models into one weapon?

well you could, but not like H2...where you have one gun and then pick up another. You have to make 2 guns a bit away from each other and give one gun primar fire and trigger and the other secondary. Make the secondary shoot when pressing another button (with genades and melee turned off) I tried but i didnt know how to put in secondry fire, the FP didnt work, and in tool i get an error like same triangles or congruent triengles like that.....and teh 3rd person was tooo far apart...so you need
a. secondary fire an a new button or same (dont matter)
b. fp to work and te guns not too be far apart
c....not too far apart for 3rd person.
thats all i know

i know that......... duh thats what i called fake dual weilding. But Jimjoebob said taht hes been playing with it before where it is like halo 2. (by the way: i have the same problem with the fp model. it never works)

Probably because I'm programming the script (de)compiler in Promtheus and the script editor. And the scripts in Prometheus may\will be different than the format in the HEK, so it wouldn't do you any good really.

conquer could we see a vid maybe? a pic wouldnt do too much but a vid of u walking up to a pistol and picking it up along with ur plasma rifle or something would be pretty sick.

Actually, I just found out how to do dual-weilding. Not specificaly, but I'm sure it has something to do with spawning another instance of the UI, one primarily for weapons, then disable the grenades and other functions.
It takes extremely good knowlage of assembly and HEX to do it correctly, but it is possible on an extreme level.
But most modders are right, it is not possible with the Halo engine, so you must bind and insert instances of the engine to work together, like another weapon handling instance for MC, then work it to only handle single-handed weapons and disable melee, and MUCH MUCH more.
Close to right, conquer?
