I am doing something with tags and this is a DUM ? but what is a marker?

a marker is something u place in 3ds to mark a place on the model for later reference. to place a marker, just create an object (spheres work nice) and name it something but make sure it starts with #. for example, you could name a marker #light
when making the tags, you can tell it to place a light, effect, or w/e on that marker. hope this helps

Will it work in places like blender or something like that. I am trying to make a banshee drop a hog

hm i have never worked with that sorry... if you have the modified version of guerilla (kornman00), then i think you can go into the gbxmodel tag and add a marker manually. it would require you to enter the coordinates of the marker manually though... so it would need a lot of testing to get it just right.

you should be able to use a current marker then
go down to functions(all the way at the bottum of the banshee.vehicle tag) and go to an empty one and if there isnt one the change one
but A in should be empty and you need to change it to crouch
then go create new effect click add on locations type in on ,arker name the place where you want the hog to drop from
then click add on events and leave that blank then click add on parts
set create in to any enviroment
and set the create in to any situation
then set the location to what ever your marker was
then under type dont touch the drop down box and click the ... and navigate to warthog.vehicle tag
THEN SAVE AS WARTHOG..effect in your banshee folder
and close it then
open back up your banshee.vehicle tag
go to attachments and click add then set type to effect then click ... and go to your WARTHOG.effect then leave the marker blank and under primary scale set to A out
put it in your map compile and when you hit the crouch key it will spawn a hog
