This is making me so iritated! when i try to run radiosity in sapien, i get the degenerating triangles error.apparently its a UVW mapping problem. But i dont know how to fix.ive tried deleting to UVW map and selecting my bitmaped faces, then reapply to UVW map.but still degenerating triangles.and since exporting-compiling-opening in sapien is about a 15 minute process, it getting annoying.
ill give a cookie to anyone who can help me!

ya, im pretty sure im ready to give up on this whole HEK think.I simply can not keep errors away.whatever i do to my current maps, i get degenerating triangles.I cant import the debug.wrl because its way to ****ing huge and i get a string length error trying to import with chimp.I can see a fraction of the errors by pasting from the debug file into another then import that file, but i have no idea what to do then.
Please help me with these god****ed triangle errors.

It's just a simple UV mapping problem.
Open up 3ds, and import the debug.wrl file over your map (you must have some basic knowledge) on how to fix wrl errors.
Remember, Halo uses a complex engine that was never meant for users to design maps in. It requires almost 0 errors to make a map work perfectly. Halo maps seem to have less problems than other game maps, like glitches and stuff.
The Debug.wrl file is a special tool/sapien error spitter. Usually, the errors come in like "mapname".wrl, but the UV map one seems to come in debug.

Ok, check out the HaloWiki.com's Tutorial Guide on how to fix Errors in Halo CE Structure BSP Maps.
It should give you the info you need
