you have a bad object. its usually the frame. (it has to be a box)

Bad object... What would THAT mean? I have a lot of different objects, and my frame is a box. Does my skybox have to have one face of it not sky?

Don't keep your objects seperate. That's why. The HEK tutorial tells you to, but it seems pretty crappy, because it causes problems. Attach all your objects, and make sure that each one is welded into your geometry mesh, with no holes whatsoever.
