a valid structure_bsp_material_block index in [#0,#0>
what do i do

I'd find out the problem with sapien first. After all, I would imagine putting in Spawn points manually is pretty damn hard and the chances of you messing up are pretty damn high (no offense).

"EXCEPTION halt in \halo\pc\haloce\tag_files\tag_groups.c,#3157: #0 is not
a valid structure_bsp_material_block index in [#0,#0>
is the reason sapien wont start and i dont know what it is all my other tags will open except ones with this EXCEPTION error

"EXCEPTION halt in \halo\pc\haloce\tag_files\tag_groups.c,#3157:
#0 is not a valid structure_bsp_material_block index in [#0,#0>"
From the looks of this, it looks like you have some material problems, check over the material names in 3ds (or gmax), and make sure you made all of the shader tags and bitmap tags, and that they have the SAME name as the appropriate material name in max.
My guess is that you have a material applied to one of your objects names material #0. If you are using the default CE tutorial, don't, it is crap!!! Use the vid tuts
Here
Good luck

if hes using gshit, markers wont work. and (for all of both i belive) make sure your matirial id is numbered properly. you cant have somthing like this.
1
3
5
7
9
do not skip numbers.

Only in 3ds, but maybe soon for Gmax.
Remember, in order for Gearbox to get a Gmax plugin, Discreet makes them pay a lot of $$, which is bullcrap.
So, Chimp was developed by a group of users, and it may improve.

You right click buttons on where you want them...lol! It's a little...TOOO easy...

It's your material data. Something is wrong with one of your shaders.
