Mmmm..
Map name (file name also):
test map
Folder name:
test map
its under:
halo custom edition\data\levels\test
The map file (it has no format other than a word document of what chimp spat out, minus "everything before and including the words "begin jms" and everything after and including the words "end jms") is under:
halo custom edition\data\levels\test\test map\models
Help?

Don't spam this forum with more than one topic about the same thing.
PS: if your gonna be an ***hole about getting help then people won't want to help you as much

When you deleted all the stuff before the End JMS etc... did you save the file as test map.jms? Anyway, if what your saying is true, heres the tool command that should work:
tool structure levels\test\test map test map
If that doesn't work, it's your JMS.

rename "file" to the name of your levels folder.

I did. I renamed it to jory, and remnamed the file to jory. I think I will try exporting it again.

Did you link it to your frame?

Ya. Otherwise it wouldn't have exported.

I am guna show u a bunch of stuff:
This is what chmips reame said to do and waht i did:
) Select the 'Listener Window' Option
2) Press the 'Export Halo Map' button
3) When the process is complete you need to run the supplied 'GrabListener.exe' Program. Ensure that you only have one copy of GMax running when you do so.
4) Save the Listener data to your Halo\Data\Levels\Test\YourMapName\Models folder as YourMapName.jms
5) Open YourMapName.jms in your favorite text editor and remove everything before and including the line '***** Begin Jms *****'. Then goto to bottom of the file and delete everything after and including the line '***** End Jms *****'. Save YourMapName.jms
6) You should now be able to compile your map into a scenario using tool
Which I did. Now what it saved as was saved as a general "File" format. not .jms.
This is what happens when I don't link them, (Which I did doafter this was taken and exported it):
This is what happens when I try "export .jms file":
This is what it shows when I click properties of the "listener window" exported map file:
Any luck?

Just get the max demo for now.
I don't except halo to last much longer since halo2 is here.
BTW: For your first error.
Just the command. You can't have spaces in your filename or folder name.
Or tool is gonna thnik it's another command or a messed one.
You just put an underscore " _ " instead.

Dude. You have to save the file with the removed parts as test map.jms. Dont just save it. Make it a .JMS.
