Halo modding command prompt error

Yo ok i have my modded gun done and i have to open command prompt and i go to the halo ce root dir and i type in tool bitmaps weapons\test\bitmaps then i hit enter and it gives me thsi error can not read map file /.testbeta.map so what should i do i would really like to use the gun i made any help would be great thanks

That's just an common error, almost everyone has it. Just ignore it. It doesn't have any effect on the actions you take in the command prompt.

yeah it does effect it because its made to make a bitmap and it doesnt when i type the command i get a error

You probably typing in the wrong thing. Under that, it tells you the command you tried to use, and the format for how to type the required information in.

i dont know its so annoying but i typed everything right i copyed and pasted it from the zion tutorial i did everything he said to do o also watched the movie mc helljumper made

yeah to copy stuff from the command prompt aka cmd right click then click select all then use your left click highlite what you want copyed then right click thats it

Didn't know that... I always use Ctrl + c and Ctrl + v
