Lightmapping error in tool...... Need help

ok im running the lightmapping in tool instead of sapien and i get this error from tool "radiosity error: degenerate triangle [or triangle with bad uvs] (see blue in error geometry)"
i never had this error before and i don't know what to do to fix it. please help.

I would guess that you have too many faces on whatever model that is.

no it doesnt give that error...it measn taht ur uvws are messed up..i would suggest going back into 3ds max and redoing the UVWs

well i tried unwrapping the uvw and tried some other stuff but it just doesn't seem to want to work.

Import debug.wrl into max and find the blue triangles, try to fix them

i tried importing debug.wrl but it just froze max and then i had to shut it down.............i guess i could try it again.

Er, why not try Sapien? It seems to do a better job.

well for one sapien takes way to long to load and run radiosity on my comp. 2 i've used tool for 3 other maps and its worked perfect until this one. 3 its a hell lot faster and can run in the background instead of having to have the game window active in order for it to run.

when i do it, even in sapien it screws up... :x

ive looked at the blue faces in the **MAP**.wrl, but it doesnt really help - ive tried changing all the UVWs...

I also had this problem, and it seemed to be localised around areas where I had a separate object (a base or whatever) on my level. The only way I could find to get rid of it was to delete my base object and create it again.
