error when creating collision geomitry plz help!

ok

i enter

tool structure levels\splinter splinter

into the cmd and it says ###ERROR about 15 times

and at the bottom it says failed to build collision geomitry

HELP

The type of error would be handy to tell, e.g. edge is open or z-buffered triangles or something like that.. You may want to search the forum for importing .WRL file.. u can see your errors when you import it..

ya it says

###ERROR edge is open on all of them

Except for models (scenery, vehicles etc) you may not have open edges in a halo map. So find them and either delete the faces with open edges or make new ones so they're not open anymore.. welding vertices might be a possibility too to get rid of them..

select all the faces in your map, then add STL check to the modifyer stack.

use the search button before you post, many many topics have asked this, it wont hurt to clikc search then type open edges
