i need help with a map problem...
my map .JMS won't work in tool.exe it says "cannot handle 5-channel data"
"!!warning!! TIFF: not a TIFF file"
but it is a TIFF file
plz help me

is your bitmap uncompressed and RGB?

do this: type tool bitmaps \levels\the name of your map\bitmaps and if you did it right it says: warning 1-alpha or sumthing... what you want to do next is open guerilla, open the bitmaps in the tag directory, where your level is and then you see a screen pop up in guerilla. say show bitmap, and then say bitmap alpha or sumthing and its completely white when you selected it. now close that window and scroll down till you see compress thingy or something, drop down that menu and select compress with explicit alpha, close the window and save. now do the same command in tool as you did before by pressing up, and press enter. you will not get the error. hope that worked!

now i can't get my tool to do anything....it can't build bsp (orange),bsp2d,
and leaf....whatever that is...can anyone help?
