if i say change the projectile of the needler from needles to rockets then save it do i need to do

tool structure levels\blah blah

then run radiosity and add the object that i aultered?

nope. unless u havent already made the .scenario tag and done radiosity. but u need to add the weapon in sapien. then just build the map file
