collision geometry problems

this is the first vehicle i have tried to put into halo (ce of course) i was following the tut at the top fo this forum. when i get down to the part of the collision geometry i get a lot of errors-->

Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'

### WARNING found #3 degenerate triangles.
### ERROR edge #1293 is open (red).
### ERROR edge #5615 is open (red).
### ERROR edge #5618 is open (red).
### ERROR edge #5621 is open (red).
### ERROR edge #5624 is open (red).
### ERROR failed to build collision geometry.
### ERROR failed to import collision bsp.
### ERROR couldn't import permutation 'p51' of node 'frame'.
### ERROR failed to import collision model 'vehicles\p51\p51'.

so i am guessing

A. i screwed up big time and have to make the thing all over agian.

B. i left out a marker or mispelled one

C. i didnt link it correctly(how do i check in 3ds max6 if it was linked correctly or not)

D. some other problem that is unknown to me.

any help would be great :D

oh and yes the model is own whole thing not alot of boxes put together

to many open edges. import the error geometry and patch things up. Everyone gets open edges.

To check if you linked it all correctly, deselect everything and click on the select by name button (arrow with lines next to it). Go to the bottom and check the box next to display. This should turn the thing to an outline type thing.
