HELP PLZ! EXPORT PROBLEM!

Hi Again!
I need help with the 3D s Max i Cant Export the .jms file at the end of the 6th tutorial what can i do?

I Say it! When i export the file like a .jms it says that the program dont know how to export that file type...
What can i do?

Ill help. So make sure all the bases are called base01 02 and the frame box is called frame and the skybox is called sxybox.

Yeah, the bases don't have to be called base etc, in fact it might be better if you go Edit mesh>Attach... w/e.

Oh Mans THANKS! i was naming the bases: base_01 and base_02!

HEY GOD DAMNIT!
IT DOESNT WORK! IT CONTINUE! FAILING! WHY!
i put the bases names like: base01-base02 the skybox like that and whats the problem now!
it continue saying this: Don't Know How To Save To That File Tipe
it only happen when i try to write .jms at the end of the 6th tutorial what can i do?

just get the blitzgrieg exporter for what every version ya got.

He only put .jms at the end cos he didnt wanna dpo the drop down menu, and he expected you too have the exporter.

read the readme

if ya still stuck put thge dll's in sytem32 (windows xp)

and your plugin in std plugins in 3ds max

got another problem :x
look in tool...
when i was creating the structure of the level u know in the 7th tutorial it say this:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>tool structure levels\Comba

choose a type for the shader 'plussky':
1. shader_environment
2. shader_model
3. shader_transparent_generic

5. shader_transparent_chicago_extended
6. shader_transparent_water
7. shader_transparent_glass
8. shader_transparent_meter
9. shader_transparent_plasma
choice (1-9): 1
some shaders were not defined

i select the number 1 so now there is no scenario in the level :(
and when i try to do it again it says this:

Shut up ASS :P

Ok now go to import, and go to your halo ce root directory and on the file drop down menu choose wrl file. Then choose your mapname.wrl file

On that only have create primitives checked, now go look at your errors to fix where you may have a face with no material on it or it may be the wrong wawy around.

but what file do u mean eith .wrl? i dont know whats that
u want me to open the map again and see if there is no texture or bitmaps? well my map i dont know why but is all gray and i cant put the bitmap... the file mapname_ground i dont look over the level in 3Ds Max...
what can i do?

If your in 3ds and the level is gray, that owuld be because you havent applied the bitmaps, in the material editor.

Emm thats why so do that, and does teh bitmap have a alpha map on it, just just i know yuou will make this map and then be like wtf no textures.

but i start all over and i got all good the map its with bitmaps and all but now im in comand promt... when im going to create the structure it says the problem that i tell to u... when i have to choice a number....
and the scenario tag doesnt appear...
what now?

its weird...
i type: tool structure levels\splinter splinter
and when i do dat the scenario tag dont apper but in the levels folder appear a shader: plussky.shader_environment...
i have to type: plussky or plusky?

how i know what r the bad edges? when the error says i maybe have to open the wrl file and see what is bad but i dont know where is that file?
