i only have one bitmap for a reticle (testing purposes) but when i try to edit the type of file so that i can select it to be un-compressed, it either closes guerilla out or just messes the bitmap up
You might need to make a shader for it, I'm not too sure though. Take a look at the originals and see.
What I meant by "compiling a .bitmap" was using tool to make one from a .tif. If you edit a .bitmap in guerilla, and save, then recompile the tif into that .bitmap, it'll fix it up to the settings you set using guerilla.
well i figured out how to make a custom reticle, but i am still working on the ammo hud. For the reticle, just design a picture with any reticle (the center of the picture is the center of the in-game screen no matter what size you make it) Now the best thing is to use the other reticle bitmap as a reference, and basically what i think you might have done wrong is in the bitmap tag, change type to 32-something and in the hud tag change the checkbox to not a sprite
ok, i've run into a problem, i sucessfully compiled the bitmap, and made it the same as the combuned_reticles bitmap stats, then set it as the bitmap for the combined reticles, and all that, but whenever i tried it in-game theres no reticle at all... help plz!
