Weapons Tutorials?

does anybody know if there's a tutorial for modifying existing weapons or creating them from scratch?

i don't know if there is a tutorial but they are both pretty damn easy, just fool around in guerilla. All the weapons are in the tags/weapons directory.

u pretty much need a model, an animation... and the tags needed for it to work in CE

that's not true, i made a new weapon (well, kinda). i used the needler model, and had a rocket as a projectile. i added the weapon to the globals.globals tag, had everything linked together, but i still couldnt use it. it wouldnt let me pick it up.l

wierd, i made a weapon that is supposed to have a 60 round clip and start with 240 rounds (like the assault rifle) but when i pick it up it has 0 rounds in clip and 0 round in reserve

i modeled a weapon-but i dnt know how to make it a .gbx model?

compile it in tool.exe
All you have to do IS: put your .jms model in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\data\weapons\*weapon name*
Then go into dos or command line and browse to your halo custom edition directory. THen type. tool weapons\*weapon name*\
That should do some stuff, then it will come up with a failure, repeat the step, then it will come out with your gbxmodel

if this works- CONSIDER 3 NEW WEAPONS -lol- and ull get credit(10% per weapon)

hmm- didnt work?

i put the weapon in new weapons directory- under data(in its own folder)
i typed: tool weapons\weaponname -and nothing happened- i did this several times,

i also put it in tags directory- under the weapons directory- i made a new folder- and put the weapon in that- i typed: tool tags\weapons\weaponfolder\weaponname
-no sucess- so i tried: tool weapons\weaponfolder\weaponname
-still nothing- -i need help.....

Doesnt tool.exe automatically look in the data directory? Also, there is no 'weapons' verb. Are you sure you know what you are doing? lol

dude- im just following instructions- and the "weapons" is the sub direcoty name!

god did you make it like this lets say data\weapons\ur weapons name as a folder\bitmaps\models

no in the weapons folder u need to make a and other folder called model
