HOW DO YOU INSTALL HEK!!?!?!?! please

ok so far i've figured out that you need halo ce to install it and it says that you have to be running halo ce to install it. When i do that a message comes up saying please close halo befor reinstalling or uninstalling. yes i did click on heksetup.exe not halo.exe. When i try running heksetup.exe on its own it gave me a masseg saying a dll file is missing blah blah blah...... so i moved it into the halo folder. Now when i run heksetup.exe it brings up the halo start up menu. could some one who KNOWS how to install hek and has it INSTALLED please reply. I've tryed every thing and I've gone to every site, I still cant figure it out. I NEED HELP!!!!!

Ok i'll answer this question once, all u noobs need to read this ok....

U must have HaloCE installed.

If u have it installed and it's still not working try reinstalling HaloCE, thats what worked for me, ok??

I will not flame u since u are the first noob to ask this.

Actually you advice deserves no thanks.... You tell me to reinstall it.... i was hopig for some one nwith the same prob. if you had read the first post yoy know that though.

I said I had the same problem, u must have Halo PC (duh) and u must have HaloCE installed(duh) and now run heksetup.exe, did it say the dll file is missing?? Then reinstall HaloCE through the halocesetup.exe then run heksetup.exe

1. If u want to go one on one in Halo first to 15 i'd love to(last person that challenged me lost 3 to 15)

2. I in no way called u a noob, I said I am answering this for all those noobs, so why did I say i'm anwering it for all the noobs, becuase we all know in the next few weeks we will see this question over and over and over again by noobs who didn't use the search button

the only reason im on this site is to find out how to work hek! and dont spazz...... and the reason it says file missing is because you dont have halo ce and i have that and when i try to install hek it pops up the halo menu screen. The normal halo screen with play and all that othere crap and ive reinstalled halo and halo CE dozens of times! I have tryd running heksetup.exe from diffrent folders. When it is in the normal halo folder it brings up the halo start menu. when its in the halo Ce folder it dosnt do anything and yes i do have the recomended path name. if you could tell me what file you heksetup is in that would be great!
