'Debuilding' a map
It's probably something obscenely simple that I'll find out before getting an answer, but how could I edit a map with HEK, like Bloodgulch or Hugeass that's already been built or compiled or whatever it's called? My CE skillz are, um, at the store?

Get HEK+. Extract the maps recursively and with the same folder names. Open up levels\mapname\mapname or levels\test\mapname\mapname in sapien. If that doesnt work, copy hangemhigh and open that scenario in guerilla and scroll to the bottom. Change the structure bsp to the structure bsp of the level you want to mod. Then open in sapien and it should work.

Aah ok, thanks. And I had HEK+ already but thanks anywayflyinrooster wrote:Like I said, download HEK+ (search google or w/e) and save all the files in the map recursively and under the same name. You can do that by right-clicking on all of the highlighted stuff to extract.
EDIT: Okay got it extracting now. Extracting into tags/levels/test/extinction/extinction. That's right, right?
