Rock throwing weapon...

I'm making a rock throwing weapon for a Halo CE Campaign mod comming up but I'm not sure exactly how to do it. It would have tags unlike any other weapon and would need a custom animation (arm throwing the stone). Other than that I know there is a custom weapon tutorial but I thought that this was so unique that it really didn't cover it. Also I need the rock to curve slightly down because rocks never fly perfectly straight forever. ANyways, any help would be apprecieated greatly.

You can add lob/wieght to projectiles (such as a grenade or FRC burst).

Hmm... yea, that is pretty much what I was thinking, thanks. Also, when I model the weapon do I need to also model the hand or can I use the bipeds hand? Also is there a way to replace the energy sword model, with a baton and have it a new weapon? It's basically the same idea, the baton, it just does less damage, which is easy to lower.

*EDIT*

ACTUALLY, since there are going to be no grenades in this level would it be able to switch out the models, remove explosion, and adjust the damage it does?

dude, just have nades on the map, but the nades be the rocks with out explosion and change the jpt tag so it hurts the marines when it hits them. tho i suggest u keep the questions about the project at the forum we made
