problems with weapon tags-plz help

hey guys, as some of you may know-i've been trying to get some weapons in game: problems with carbine & beam rifle.

neither one will fire in game & the carbine doesn't show up in FP. BTW, i got these in game following the tutorial by HCHell jumper...i used James's script & got the plasma pistol's markers to use. I move some things around & maybe my mistake was moving the #ground thing but i was hoping you guys could help? I also added the maker for the magazine=oops? & 1 more thing...in guerila i added the sniper's contrail=oops? lemme know of anything that i might've done wrong...

i may try to do it with the assault rifle & have some stuff from the plasma pistol, we'll just have to see. But if any of you guys have an answer then that'd be great too.

try starting with an existing weapon... then copy all the tags... then go thru and change it up. first apply the new model, then compile and see if it works. then just change everything else. for the not being able to fire problem, it might have something to do with the clips.

i've fixed most of the stuff....thanks though! the thing was that i forgot to make a shader_model for the skin. & also i changed some more stuff in guerila & it shoots now. the only problem left is the FP, i need something that can help me there...my gun either doesn't show up-or it shows up as the gbx i imported in 3ds max(pistol/plasma pistol) for this weapon. But i made the FP folder & the FP\models & i saved the .jms in the FP\models folder. I can't figure out what i'm doing wroing?

did u move the ground node or marker

that what it references on try changing that and it should show up
