......build a base as a scenery?I know that there will be some open edges on the entrance.But if you put something like a door and make it as material type "glas".So you shot against the "glass" and you can enter :) .

I hate to do this stuff to delete the ground then atach it to the base. 8)

Is this possible? :?:

Ive used scenery bases quite a bit because they are easy to get in position and you can place them where you want, the only downside is that you cant place scenery on scenery so flags and stuff is out of the question, but I just have a circular fortress and watchtower that are scenery. :wink:

just place the flag in the base and than move it up using the properties window

i don't think it would be considered open edges if you actually made faces on the inside...but thats just me...and i never tried making a base into scenery...

it might be your "glass" in the doorway

Now if i create a map and don't even put the base into that map it says this erorr above.
To test i created a map in 3d Max and apply the texture to the ground and exported it.I have create a shader_enviroment for the bitmaps and have one all this stuff with guerilla.In sapien i put two starting points with different teamindex.
Now i wantedo play the map and then this shit happend!!!

I downloaded the files of the Video tut and i had the same erorr .
Plz help!

dont use your homade map for testing. I always compile everything into the Tutorial map HEK came with.... unless its too big. but i doubt it since it only has like 200 sumthing poly's. Although i guess they could be huge and stretched out with no detail.
