Making it snow

Well ive been trying to figure out how make it snow in maps... does anyone kno how to do this? ive seen at least 3 maps with snow it.

Look for the weather_particle (i think) tag. It might be under b40. You then apply it like you would wind.

ive tried that already. do i need to apply a material named +weatherpoly during the modeling process?

no ya dont, you put the weather in while you're in sapien

EDIT: er....well you dont have to put it in while you're in sapien, but it's the easiest way.

i tried that before and i also had the +weatherpoly plane as well... it never worked and although tool compiled it, it crashed halo itself. don't exactly know what went wrong.
