recording without a gun on screen

i did a search on this and didnt come up with anything. and im teh noob so if this is in the wrong forum sorry
you make a full screen view without MC's gun in your view point with HMT3.5. this is if you are doing some screen recording, and want to get most of the screen without the weapons to do this:
all you have to do is open up HMT 3.5 scroll down to the gun you want.(i personaly like the shotgun) give it 2 zoom levels. the first one should have a zoom of 0.5 ( this is almost exactly like first person view except the shotgun will be gone) and for a dramatic zoom the second zoom should be at 8 or even 10(this gives the zoom a bounce effect)

well if ur not usin halo ce, and ur usin normal halo then u can openhmt(any verion doesnt matter) and go to the weapons tab, go to assault rifle and change the zoom to
zoom level- 1
minimum zoom-1
maximum zoom-1
then save and go to halo and zoom in and u have a good screen without the gun, health monitor, and the the weapon stats, but u will still have the gun reticle
if u dont want that either go to halo4pc.com and i think that a bitmap file no hud bitmaps mod is in there, cuz i remember using that and making a halo movie

devmode is in halo ce, its like a view from a flying camera
its just like on mario, pretend ur the yellowish dude with the glasses who has a camera and floats on a cloud, just pretend thats u but in halo, so inother words..... its a flying camera

Well devmode fucking sucks ass, cuz u cn film on it, but no-one else can join, unless its lan.

I agree with Orchid. But how do you do it without HMT? Like on Halo CE not regular.
