Pelican Flight Patterns

This may or may not be a n00b question (I just joined here a few days ago), but is it possible to alter the flight patterns of the Pelicans in Campaign? As in changing the flight patterns to something that leads you to another place on the map? I heard you could rewrite the Pelican AI structure but I don't like to use that much effort. I just feel like having the Marines and I have a different place as our LZ for once... And one more thing, how do I put excess Marines into the Pelicans? Don't flame, please...

Even if you could, the marines would need extra seats, seat duplication is not for the beginners....otherwise your extra marines would fall to their doom. Only way you could add extra marines I think, is to swap scenery for them, and if thats not enough, then rebuild the map with some more scenery, and do it that way, with some XML editing.
