compressing sounds

i dld the xbox adcb*** whatever codec, and i have a sound converter, but i was wondering how do you compress th sound files so HMT will accept them, i try to put the new file in but i get an error saying its not compressed, if ne 1 could hlep that would be great

To compress an audio file, is to encode it. Either you didn't use the XBOX ADPCM codec to re-encode [compress] the file or your XBOX codec is not the right one. Lots of people have gotten different versions of it, and very few work.

Yeh, you could also use a sound editor to convert them to other audio compressions.
