Having multiple characters in a MP map.

Hey, I just wanted to know if there is a tutorial on this, or if anyone can tell me how to do it.

Say, in Blood Gulch, having someone enabled to be a Sentinel. Another being a marine, etc. Is this possible? If so, how? :?:

.. And you have control over them? Right?

Could play them like to play as a, say, Elite in Two Betrayals? I need full control over a few characters from the Campaign. Mainly, Sentinels, Marines, and Covenant.

If this has been done, I would appreciate a link to any tutorial. I have tried to search, and I find more than I need and end up with nothing.

You can have multiple types of AIs in one MP map, but until Halo 2 you can't have each palyer playing as a different character. It's impossible. That answer your question?

Ahh..screw this...AI tut coming up, I'm sick of n00bs saying "But search is useless".

Actually hes talkin' about the player using a different biped.

Just recursivly extract it, Rebuild it, and null out the actor varient.

No, I think what he means is to have Halo 2-style Human vs. Covenant MP, maybe with one player being an Elite and one a SPARTAN. Which as far as I know is impossible. I dunno, maybe with HEK you can do this.

Ahh.. I see.. Well thats not possible in PC, But for CE... Maybe, I just got HEK installed today (YeY), And dang is it complicated...

I'm not sure you can, even with the HEK. Hmm...if you can't you could try porting the characters and weapons to another moddable game, a lot of people seem to be doing that with BF: 1942 and BF: V, both of which I get today (w00t), in fact I might have a try...

could do spartans vs elites on SP mode, and you can rebuild SP maps, so you could put some extra stuff in....

or, if u r tryin to have a marines vs. covenant movie then you might be able to change a sp map to have the bsp of a mp map...but that will probably seriously play hell with the scripting and spawn points and such...or you might be able to switch the red team bitmaps with spartan bitmaps and do the same with blu and elite...but i dunno...just an idea

no you couldnt do this. the bitmaps are the same they just have diff shaders but it is currently impossibe to play covenant vrs human. all players have to use the same biped.
