HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i downloaded the file "hog wars" from the forums, and when i unrarred it, i received a MAP file named bloodgulch, with a size of 13,878kb, and a ppf file named bitmaps.patch.ppf with a size of 1,306kb, plus a readme wich made no sense at all. does anyone know what to do with the files?
any help will be much appreciated.

I won't flame you...
Put the .map file in you MAPS folder, which is located at this directory:
Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS

FIRST, MAKE A BACKUP OF THE WHOLE FOLDER.
Put the .map file in it, and overwrite.

Next, get ppf-o-matic.

In the ISO part, bit the bitmaps.map, located at your MAPS folder.
Under patch, apply the ppf file.
Fire up Halo, and start Bloodgulch!
I hope this helped a bit.
