how do i Import my object back into halo

i have searched and i have read for a little while and found no answer so im finally asking... How do I import my newly created object back into my map?? TY

its called injection, n00b.
or you can just rebuild it into the map.

anyway, yeah, "Inject Meta" (which I think is dysfunctional, literally), or rebuild the map with the new object.

Thank you!!! you flamers didnt really answer my question. I want to know how to take a wavefront .obj and put it into the map. I know how to PMI ojects. If you could just tell me how i go about injecting to back into the map...

you know how to Inject PM and yet u cant normally inject a model??

yeah i have no clue i dont understand what i do to take a .obj file and put it back into the map... i do know how to take a model from another level (Including building AI) but i dont understand. can someone explain.

alright.. open up hmt and open the map ur gunna inject the models into.

goto the [mod2] pc models tag, and find the model you want to replace, not on the right there should be an inject model button, click that. now browse to ur model, and it will be injected.

aight after that i feel stupid. but thanks one more quick one does my object have to have the exact same amount of vertices as the one im replacing...

OH THANK GOD the model doesn't have to have the same # of vertices, i was gonna replace the ar with a paintball gun (my idea, pm me if u want 2 use it!!!)

OLD idea. There have been about a half a dozen paintball mods already, and they're all crap. H:CE is the way to go if you want to make good mods with custom skins for just a single map, like for guns, etc.

It can only have less, not more, so in this case, your gunna have a hard time making a model.

Second, paintball gun? Soo. Fuckin'. Old.
