does anyone know if its possible to make it so vehicle shadows etc show up if the vehicle is more than 5 feet away from the ground? because like with the banshee for instance if you fly more than 5-10 feet above the ground the shadow just goes away.

is there a way to change that distance with hmt/hht?

Next time, I suggest you look first then post if you cannot find it, also look around for tutorials and other such things that might offer advice. There is not one that I know of. As for why they don't cast a shadow, that is prolly due to the shape of Halo and the physics of light, on Earth, we will see a shadow pretty much regardless because of the location of the sun in relation to us. We don't know the location of Halo in relation to the stars around it. This could mean that it has angle that the shadows created could be minimum.

(it also could be the fact that Bungie did not consider that an important asset to the multiplayer game. Shadows or network speed. I know which one I would go with.)

Then I would say it has something to do with light physics in relation to Halo, or Bungie just did not think it was that important in multiplayer.

a person named conure who knows almost everything about modding(if he can't help he definitely knows someone who can), just PM him, go to where it says you have no new messages and hit "send private message"

you coulda just edited the first post..., as for the shadows, i dont think that making the shadows appearing from farther away is such a good idea, saying because that will definitely make halo run slower

well then that sucks for people with poor graphics.

i think my phenom quad and my dual 4850's can handle it =p
