Halo Realism fix Version 2

yesterday i gave this update in the Version 1 download thread

I plan on doing some custom animations that sync with the weapon’s sounds(guess it’s time I learn how to model)
No more meta swaps
Driveable pelican and C_dropship on death island (need help on C_dropship, PM me)
A sand texture courtesy of Ombre (I hope)

At this moment in development, im working on the reskin, so far I got Pillar of Autumn (a10) completely done, here's a pic

i've decided to move all updates on V2 to this thread, and today's update is this:

a30 (Halo)'s bitmaps are all done, forrunner structures are rusty
grass has twigs, dandelion-type things and leaves scattered in it, on top of a better actual grass texture
Tree bark is cooler looking, custom branches that look hawt but i didn't take a pic of them
new cliff wall texture

That's cool, but the assault rifle reticle is annoying me.

alright, here's a WIP of the new reticule, would you say the new reticule is a change for the better?

i guess its supposed to be rusted?

i think you coulda done a better marine hand bitmap job, i mean, you can see a big-ass crease right there...

otherwise its looking good to me :)

i don't have FP arm skin to go with the TP arms yet because i released a bunch of different camo skins, that one was the l;ast one i made for the marine so he still has that skin from when i took the screenshot, but i plan on making the camo skin change on each map so i didn't apply a different skin, making the camo change on each map will definitely motivate me to change the FP arms, in fact if i had more FOV on the FP you would see that it still is matched to the woodland armor

update time:
Truth and Reconciliation finished reskinning
Most of the reskinning was done on the interior of the cruiser, but there are altered bumpmaps and new cliff, bark, and rock skins for the outside part of the level

what do you like about it? what do you not like about it? what should i do to improve upon the things you dont like? don't just say "good..." or "Bad..."

dont really like that AR HUD... looks like a waste of a screen for some reason


but hey wats that game in ur sig? i saw that and i really wanted to try it out i remember reading about it in game informer and i havent seen it since

If you skinned the ground to suit the bumpmaps more, that would be great. And I know how you feel about people saying 'good' or 'bad'. :wink: Also, I like the purple walls. Make more purple stuff. :P
