i was wondering if there was a tutorial for beginners on how to HEX for mac. I'm saying this because i was looking at Philly's Duplication tutorial and i had no idea wtf he was doing.

so can someone send me a bone and tell me where to go with it?

For that particular editing tutorial with find and replace for all of the strings, it'd be just as simple to do that with your text editor.

Now if you have an interest in learning hex like how it used to be done I'd recommend this.

It's not hard to do just get a decent hex editor such as HexEdit, Like in the tut provided by Alt. I use it all the time, it's great.
