its accepted slang, actually. see the P key is right next to the O key, and ever notice how AOLers tend to type waaayyyy too fast (and screw up 5/7 words as a consequence)? its just become accepted. and dont DL anything you dont trust, inculding n00b maps.

im a real newb to making new maps and editin with spark and hmt, and i was just finishing my sp-mp map i added a pelican in and stuff but problem 1 is 1: i can't get get the pelican into the actual map i check the co-ordinates on the map and theres just a flashing square problem 2 is i can't get the map to show up on the map list so i can actually play it in multi. thanx

ok, u follow the tutorial exactly and replace the map u used as the orig. Its not gunna show up as its own map. If u used derelect as ur base map, u rename ur converted map to derelect.map and replace. Then play derelect. To make the peli work, u gotta add the .vehi and .mod2 tag wen u rebuild. Then replace a warthog or scenery w/ the peli.
