help with modeling

well i try to model using peoples tuts but when i play my modeled gun isn modeled instead has no detail and looks horrible can someone help me by posting a link or something to a Good modeling tutorial

There really is no way to give you a modeling tutorial to follow to make a model. You really have to do it yourself and experiment and make some stuff and try it out.

i know how to MAKE guns but when i play they have no detail

Honestly I don't know what to tell you. I don't model at all so I don't know how to do this.

what exactly do you mean by "no detail"?
