It is my first skin made from scratch so, take it easy. It is based on about 5 pics I have of the real H3 Sniper Rifle. Ok so in the pics anything that is blue grid is what is not skinned yet, but since I tested it yesterday I have skinned more of it. As for the test multipurpose, it is just some lazy multi I put together in about 15 seconds so it is exageratedly shiny. I would like to thank Taz cuz I looked at his sr's display & made my own based on it & some pix I fund on the "internets." So here ya go peoples, pics.

Ok, I have skinned more things since the in-game test. Right now I would say it is about 60% complete & still needing more areas skinned, detailed & fixed. I have changed the technique I used for the metal, re-doing a few areas from the pics above. I ran into some problems with an area on the scope, so instead of line things I put a texture which looks pretty good on it. If I had put those line things they would've looked like crap. So basically it's not going to be exactly H3, but instead H3ish.
So what? Wherez teh pics?

Honeycombs have been replaced with machines that make honey. the marines wont know whats on that scope. also...what im saying is....Get rid of the honey comb.

Well, if you melee, a bunch of bees will fly out and kill the target, duhhhhh.

LOL! Umm.. idk what to put there that is as close as I can get to what is on the actual h3 sniper rifle.

This actually isn't bad, despite the part about it being the 5498045680495767th Halo 3 skin on this site.

Replace the honeycomb looking thing with something else, and darken the grey a little bit.

Thnx for the comment man, & I so plan on replacing the honeycomb. as for the grey, it has been darkened since the development stages & I do not plan on darkening it even more.

First of all those aren't hexagons, they look more like the stained glass filter on PS.

Second of all, the textures still need worked on, it looks like it was just painted on, there isn't much detail into it.

Hmm.. well I'm not a pro skinner & like i sed thisis my first skin made from scratch. Oh, & there is detail it is not just painted solid colors.

I'll be honest. I like this. I think it just needs to look a bit better, and maybe cleaned up a little.

Dude when you are done this be sure to remove the legendary logo that doesnt look so halo 3 to me
