Needler Ammo

I swapped the needler ammo into hang em' high by replacing the plasma grenade (weapon, not projectile version). I can see it in the map, but when i walk over it holding an empty needler, I don't get any ammo.
I think it might have to do with the fact that I replaced a weapon and not an ammo pack, but Sparkedit doesn't show anything in the "swap" dropdown menu, so I couldn't put it in the map anyways.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Rebuild the map with a duplicated item collection, and you only need to swap the meta of the [eqip], not the weapon. By rebuilding you can have a whole new object to place, instead of overwriting things. Trust me, moar is better.

Needler ammo is in the map already, and I had the same problem while rebuilding.
I did overwrite plasma grenade in the [eqip] setion, it was just labeled [weap].
I I rebuilt the map with the item, how would I pace it on the map?

H4x.
I hope you don't mind if I go off topic a bit, but I'd rather not tell you. It's best to find things out for yourself when modding, you will learn better that way. If you stick to a strict regime and never do anything other that what you're told, you'll get to a point where you know a lot, but you can't do anything creative anymore.
1) Open the rebuilt map in SparkEdit
2) Find any weapon, like a sniper rifle, and duplicate it several times. About five will do.
3) Close the map and open it in HHT. Open the scenario in the dependency swapper.
4) Find the 5 item collection dependancies for the sniper rifle. Swap at least one of them for the new item collection.
5) Open the map back up in SparkEdit, and find the duplicated sniper rifles. Some of them should be your new equipment!
I learnt this, and several other useful tidbits like this, all by myself, without any help. I didn't ask any questions, but I'm not a genuis. Now go forth, and make a kickass mod.

Hmm... I see. I don't really know HHT's full potential; I've always used HMT.
Err... I found the tags and all, but there's no [itmc] tag for needler ammo. >_< Substituting the [eqip] tag results in an exception, so I'll try rebuilding to see if it's any different.

Manually duplicate an item collection, then swap its dependencies from a weapon to the needler ammo.
