Changing projectile spawn points (X+Z coords)

I'm sorry if this has been posted somewhere else, but I need some help with changing the X and Z coords of the warthog gun projectile to make the projectiles come out of just below the front of the warthog.
As a side note, what is the Y coord used for?
Thanks,
~Kalamadea~

i would guess up and down. but based off what you just said i might say side to side.

X = Forwards and Back Y = Side to Side Z = Up and Down
if you use Eschaton (Which I suggest

), set the prefs to Entity style plugins.
next,
1. Go to the Weap Tag
2. Pick the Weapon of your choice
3. Go to Triggers Tag
4. Click triggers
5. Click Floating Point numbers and scroll down
6. click the X, Y, or Z coordinates and change them to your liking.

Let me clarify what I mean exactly. I already know how to change the coords. I'm just wondering if anybody knows what the numbers would be to make the projectiles of the warthog's chaingun look like they were firing from the front of the warthog, just underneath the front actually.
I'm sorry if I'm not being clear with my point.

oh, sorry about that, I'm not sure really. A very small number. first work on the forward part, That way you know when you are at the right amount forwards. and then work on moving it down.

I'm thinking that since it will fire from below the warthog, that the Z coord will be a negative number?

most likely, I'm pretty sure anyways. Check if the Coordinate is 0 before altered and then if it is it will be a negative number.

I thought that it was:
-X = left and +X = right
-Y = Down and +Y = Up
-Z = Backwards and +Z = Forwards
No?

That makes more sense, that's how coordanite planes are actually set up.
How the ^#%&% do you spell coordinate. Is that it. :goes to check on google:

Modfox is right. Z IS up and down, also cordinate planes dont work well in 3d unless yo uare using a 3d one... Rember a cord plan has 2 axis, 3d has "3".

Lol I see what you did there, you know about that thing were the human brain only needs to see the first and last letter in the right spot and can make out the word.
Very clever Philly
