I am trying to replace all other vehicles with hogs that can be seen in multiplayer. Can this be done? Does this work with replacing scenery also? I want as many hogs as possible in the map. Thanks, ChIck3n

Open your map in sparkedit, delete all the vehicles there, and duplicate warthogs all over the place. That'll be seen by everyone.

Hamster is correct but i got a little bit of a twist of a way to do this also with a bigger effect.

open your map in HMT. Change all your vehicles to scenery items. Then open Sparkedit. Import new tags into scenario as usual. Now take all thoes vehicles are that are scenery items and duplicate them all over the place. 10 tanks, 15 hogs, 30 ghosts.. just have fun. When your done save the mp in sparkedit. Now run Halo and make a custom gametype that has no vehicles on it and play using that game type.

Wah'la! You have 40 something functioning vehicles on a map.

To people who own dedicated servers:
If you want to do this to your dedicated server then simply do the process above to your server side maps instead of the maps in your halo maps folder. This way when ever someone comes into your server through the halo lobby all the vehicles will be open to them to use and will work perfectly...

UNLESS!! you reset the map while in gameplay. Its a respawn bug and there is no known fix for it and will make all the vehicles spawn at one point over lapping each other. Just dont map_reset and youll be fine.

Kudos!

That might be a bit out of his reach. Maybe not, but signs point to yes. And pepsi, if you changed the type back from scenery to vehicle that wouldnt work would it? I was messing around with that before and It didnt work, so I assumed it wouldn't, didnt think of leaving them as scenery.

Thanks for the tips, but I am stuck on importing the tag into sparkedit. I am not sure if I did the swap in HMT right. I selected the warthog, then changed the first dropdown box in the top corner from vehi to scen. In sparkedit it shows it in the import tag box under scenery, but it never shows up in the swap scenery box (select scenery item, then the new item in the swap menu). How do I select them to place them on the map? Do I need to do any meta swapping? I really like modding, and would like to learn more about it so anything will help! ChIck3n

Make sure you're using sparkedit 3.02, because on 3.01 and previous versions the import feature is fubar.

make sure you have 3.02, and then click the toolbars until you find "import tag into scenario". Then select the warthog, then go back to the main part, and if it doesnt show up, click a different tab, and then reselect that one. It'll work now.

Ok, Thanks. I had Sparkedit 3.01. One last question. Do I need to change all 3 of the dropdown boxes at the top to match the ones for scenery, or do I just change the one that says "Vehi" to "Scen". Thanks for all the help, ChIck3n
