Active Camoflage

Hi there
This has probably been covered before or is really easy and loads of you are gonna laugh at me but I will ask anyway
I am trying to get active camo into an infinity map
I have manged to get it so that a pistol can shoot it and swap grenades for it.
What I cannot do is get it so that it can appear on sparkedit and be moved round and duplicated
Please please please please can someone spare the time to tell a poor stupid idiot where she is going wrong.

turn it into scenery, import into spark edit, and duplicate existing scenery, then swap it for the active camo
or replace a current itmc with the active camo then move it where you want

Welcome.
1) Your not an idiot. you're just new at modding. 'tis fine.
2) Get HHT 5
3) Go to the eqip tag class or itmc, i'm not sure
4) Swap the grenade's eqip dependency to the active camo's dependency.

Thanks for your replies
I have done both of those things,
1. When i run the server with active camo as part of the scenery, it fades away after a while and doesn't come back under the end of the game
2. I have swapped it for grenades and placed them on the map, however I run the server with infinite grenades, therefore no grenades appear on the map and so, no active camo.
Sorry to be a pain but there must be a way of just putting it in.

try swapping with some other itmc like a useless weapon

using HHT goto the item collection tag list and in the tree veiw next to the tag list swap the refernce of a weapon to the active camoflauge item you may need to change the tag type from [weap] to [itmc] either way it should work.

yeah i was going to say.... btw it is in a mini cave thingy, sorta like a tunnel. underneath one of the shades.

Yes, i know there's something there.
When i move it and copy it though it never shows up in the map

maybe try to locate it in the map. change the (Y?) coordinate or whatever one it is to change the height of the of the spawn coordinates, so that you can see it on the map.

lulz...
are you trying to do this for a home server?
this means you have to open halo and choose "create a game".
or
you trying to do this for a dedicated server?
this meaning its a server through a company or installed on a pc seperate from halopc.

Hi I have move it around several times
When you click on it in sparkedit its called
item collections\powerups\powerup invisibility
This is shown on HHT and if I go to itmc tag it shows that it is active camo, so i have no idea why it won't show up on the map
I run a dedicated server. but i upload my own maps to it

I have managed to swap active camo for the plasma pistol which works now.

how about another question, just to see if its possible
I can get the pistol to shoot a giant boulder, is it possible to make that boulder fade after a period of time ?? and if so, How ?

i dont see why it is not possible.
swap the pistol s bullet for a fuel rod guns projectile then swap the mod2 and the coll tags of the fuel rod gun projectiles to that of the boulder.
using HMT3.5 goto the fuel rod guns projectile tag and put the speed of the projectile to 0 and gravity to 0 and the boulder should be spawned and stay floating in the air.
