HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hi,
I have been trying to mod lately, and I want to maybe make my "own" snow for (HMT) bitmaps>effects>particles>solid>bitmaps>rain...

When I make my image it works in Halo, but the black background in the image shows... Is there a way to make the black background transparent but still see the snow?

edit the alpha layer. click the "pimp ui" in my sig and read what i said about edited the alpha layer in my tut. theres your answer.
