i was playing on a halo ce map last night(cmt snow grove)and the sniper rifle on that map is ace and would like to replace the old sniper rifle with that one on normal halo.could some1 please give me a link to a tut so i could follow it.iv looked about but i dont know wot im looking for

Do you have the tags for the cmt sniper rifle you'd like to put into HPC?

i searched but i dont know what im looking for iv put skins on b4 but i dont know how to do this.

only thing i have is the map,im not sure what tags are?ty jk-47

The tag is the file of the weapon. If they didn't release it individually, then I don't think you can do this, because to extract the tag from the map would be ripping, and I'm sure CMT wouldn't appreciate that.

Just ask CtrlAltDestroy for it, he is the one who made it. Don't think you'll get it off of him though.

open the map in HEK+. see if the tags are protected. if they are not you can convert the map with harbinger then use the converted map during a normal PMI process.

if the tags are protected then your going to have to contact CMT and ask them for use of their tags. if they let you have them then convert the tags CE>PC and inject into the map via PMI process.

now heres some key points im going to tell you.

in order to add this sniper model to any PC map your going to have to learn how to PMI. if your going to want to use this sniper in your online games (game you join from the lobby) you wont be able to for these following maps..

icefields
sidewinder
chillout
timberland
wizard
battle creek

these maps i know cant not be rebuild using the PMI process and then using that rebuild map for online lobby play.

so my friend, welcome to the chore of modding halopc. you have some advanced stuff to learn how to do and i honestly dont think anyone is going to rebuild these maps for you just for a single sniper so its time to use hamsters link.
